This dark-coloured Tagliatelle is made by adding Squid Ink to the pasta dough. It is often used in Mediterranean and Japanese cuisines for its full-bodied, salty taste with the subtle hint of sea. Our Squid Ink Tagliatelle comes from Brittany in a packet of 250g and is a great way to enhance the flavour and beauty of your pasta dish. It is best paired with light seafood pasta sauces.
Contrary to most information out there, Squid Ink Pasta can be good for you if prepared correctly and consumed in reasonable quantity. It is a good source of energy and Vitamin B and because of the Squid Ink, this Tagliatelle can contain slightly more Iron compared to normal pasta, which can be beneficial to red blood cell production and cell metabolism. Paired with a healthy pasta sauce, Squid Ink Tagliatelle is a great option for when you need energy, fast!
Squid Ink Tagliatelle is best paired with sauces that are lighter in taste and colour in order to be fully able to appreciate the beautiful colour and flavour of the pasta. Try serving as part of tomato, white wine pasta with shrimp and scallops, topped with fresh parsley. Pair with a glass of Italian Verdicchio or Pinot Gris.

We deliver across most of mainland UK using trusted overnight courier services.
Please note that some remote areas, including parts of northern and western Scotland, may incur an additional delivery surcharge where next-day delivery cannot be guaranteed.

If a delivery is left without a signature, parcels are left at the customer’s risk. Unless otherwise instructed, drivers may leave orders in a safe place, out of sight where possible.
Our minimum order value is £30.
If we anticipate any issue affecting your selected delivery date, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a suitable alternative. Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery or provide clear safe-place instructions.
Our stock system is designed to display live availability wherever possible. However, in the rare event that an item becomes unavailable before dispatch, we may substitute it with the closest suitable alternative. Any price difference will be refunded accordingly.

We use DPD courier services for all UK deliveries.
Orders must be placed before 2pm for next-day delivery eligibility. Deliveries typically arrive by 6pm.
To make ordering as simple as possible, our checkout only displays available delivery dates based on your location and order.
You’ll be able to select a delivery day that suits you, and any additional charges will be clearly shown before checkout.
Orders are carefully prepared and packed the evening before dispatch. On the day of delivery, DPD will send a notification with your allocated one-hour delivery window.

While over 99% of deliveries arrive on time, occasional courier delays can happen. In the unlikely event your order is delayed by one day, your items will remain protected in temperature-controlled packaging designed to withstand short transit delays. By placing an order, customers acknowledge that deliveries may occasionally arrive up to one day later than scheduled. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.
Courier procedures have changed significantly in recent years, and while drivers will often knock or ring the doorbell, this cannot always be guaranteed.
Delivery updates are usually sent via text message or email, so we recommend keeping an eye on your notifications on the day of delivery.
If your parcel has not arrived within the advised delivery window, please contact us and we’ll investigate with the courier on your behalf. We actively monitor consignments and will always contact customers if we become aware of any issues affecting delivery.
