Our Service and Guarantee
Our first and last job every day is to check our post and emails, therefore, whenever possible, we will reply the same day to any enquiry we have. However, just to be safe, we will guarantee to get back to you within 24 hours. Telephone contacts will be dealt with as quickly as possible (between 9 am – 3 pm Monday – Friday, or 24/7 answerphone). Please leave your name and number and we will get back to you. All orders will be dispatched by overnight carrier. They will be packed with dry ice in a polystyrene box, which ensures your fish is still frozen when you receive it. If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolve any issues within 24 hours.Where we Deliver to
We dispatch our fish across the whole of the UK. Some areas such as northerly and western parts of Scotland where we cannot guarantee a next day service can incur a delivery surcharge. Please note that we also cannot deliver to Offshore, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey. Deliveries which are not signed for are left “at your risk”, the driver unless instructed will leave the package by your front door out of sight of the main road if possible.Minimum Order
As of September 2025 we have a minimum order amount of £30 If we anticipate any difficulties concerning the delivery date, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a mutually acceptable alternative. Our system usually ensures that items you can order are in stock and available but in the event of an item being out of stock on the dispatch date, we will substitute with the closest alternative and refund any difference.We Use DPD Couriers

To make it easier for our customers the shopping cart page allows you to choose only valid delivery dates and any additional charge will be clearly shown before you check out. Please note we don’t deliver on weekends or Mondays.When placing your order, you’ll be able to choose a delivery date that works for you. We prepare and ship your parcel the evening before your selected date. On the day it’s due to arrive, DPD will send a message confirming your allocated one-hour delivery slot.
Fewer than 1% of our deliveries are delayed by a day. In the unlikely event this happens, your items will remain protected, as all orders are carefully packed to handle short transit delays. By ordering with us, you must be able to accept delivery up to one day later than planned — please see our Terms & Conditions for further information.
Delivery Notifications
Courier procedures have changed considerably in recent years. Although we would like drivers to always knock or ring the bell, this is not guaranteed and is beyond our control. Delivery confirmation is typically sent via text message instead. For this reason, it’s important to keep an eye on your phone and check for confirmation on the day of arrival.
If your parcel does not arrive within the advised time window, please get in touch and we’ll investigate with the courier on your behalf. We proactively monitor consignments, and if we spot any potential issues, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
