Prawns are a part of the shellfish family, with a harder shell than shrimp, they are pale in colour and have chewy texture with a subtle sweet taste, similar to that of other shellfish such as crabs and lobsters. These Prawns are farmed in Southeast Asia, and come 13 to 15 per 1kg pack. This delicacy is great eaten on its own or as an addition to your favourite seafood soup, pasta or salad.

Prawns are a good source of Omega-3 acids (specifically methyl eicosapentaenoic acid or EPA) and low in saturated fats. which can reduce the risk for heart disease, and improve vascular health. Rich in protein and Zinc and Selenium, eating prawns can also be beneficial to the bones and muscles and can also strengthen the immune system.

These whole prawns are farmed in south-east Asia and fast-frozen ready for shipping to our warehouse. These incredibly fresh prawns are perfect for any time of the day. You can either peel, chop and devein them yourself or cook them whole to add extra flavour to your dish! There are between 13-15 (large Size) in a box. 750 gram net

Prawn meat is very delicate when it comes to preparation, it is important that you don’t overcook them as that would make the flesh chewy and rubbery. Prawns are part of many different cuisines. Our first and last job every day is to check our post and emails, therefore, whenever possible, we will reply the same day to any enquiry we have. However, just to be safe, we will guarantee to get back to you within 24 hours. Telephone contacts will be dealt with as quickly as possible (between 9 am – 3 pm Monday – Friday, or 24/7 answerphone). Please leave your name and number and we will get back to you. All orders will be dispatched by overnight carrier. They will be packed with dry ice in a polystyrene box, which ensures your fish is still frozen when you receive it. If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolve any issues within 24 hours.

Where we Deliver to

We dispatch our fish across the whole of the UK. Some areas such as northerly and western parts of Scotland where we cannot guarantee a next day service can incur a delivery surcharge. Please note that we also cannot deliver to Offshore, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey. Deliveries which are not signed for are left “at your risk”, the driver unless instructed will leave the package by your front door out of sight of the main road if possible.

Minimum Order

As of April 2025 we have a minimum order amount of £20 If we anticipate any difficulties concerning the delivery date, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a mutually acceptable alternative. Please make sure your delivery address can sign or leave clear instructions.

Out of Stock Items

Our system usually ensures that items you can order are in stock and available but in the event of an item being out of stock on the dispatch date, we will substitute with the closest alternative and refund any difference.

Orders under £40 are packed and delivered for £9.95.

Orders under £60 are packed and delivered for £6.95.

Orders under £75 are packed and delivered for £4.95.

Orders over £75 are delivered free of charge.

Bank Holidays

Since we pack and ship the day before delivery we regret that we do not offer Monday deliveries or on a Tuesday after a bank holiday. None of the above shall affect your statutory rights as a customer.
