Whole Brown Crab 600-900g
Brown crab is native to the UK and is the heaviest kind of seafood crab along our coast. It has white sweet tasting meat in its claws and darker, fattier brown meat under the main shell. This is Male Brown Crab (7-900 gram each) with very good meat-to-shell ratio. Caught and prepared in Devon, the brown crab is then frozen within a few hours to prolong its freshness.
Crab meat is an excellent source of protein, important for muscle growth and cell regeneration. It is also rich in minerals, Potassium and Phosphorus, good for the bone health and fluid balance, as well as Omega-3 acids, which are essential for maintaining a healthy heart and brain. Its high levels of Vitamin C help boost the immune system and improve your vision.
Brown Crab’s white and brown meat is very versatile and it can be used in loads of delicious recipes – from crab cakes to crab pasta or seafood salad. Our Brown Crab comes cooked, no hard work is needed, just grab your hammer! Try using the meat from the Brown Crab in a homemade sundried tomato linguine with pine nuts and rucola.
