Marlin

£13.95

New

The Marlin is a wild large game fish.

It has an elongated body that in larger species can be in excess of 4 m (13 ft) long, a snout like a spear, and a long rigid dorsal fin which extends forwards to form a crest. The name is thought to derive from its national resemblance to a sailor’s marlinspike.

As a semi-fatty species, Marlin stores fat only in parts of its body and its total fat content of between 2 and 10 % is lower than that of fattier species such as Herring and Mackerel. Although you can eat Marlin raw in Japanese dishes such as sushi, cooking Marlin steaks by poaching or grilling are also delicious options.

Ours are skinless boneless steaks line-caught in Pacific ocean off Vietnam. 5-6 per pack
