Oreo Dory fillets are an excellent choice as they are mild flavoured and have very few bones.
- 4 skinless fillets, Oreo Dory
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the broiler. Place fish fillets on a broil pan
Combine all remaining ingredients in a saucepan and stir over low heat for 5 minutes, until thickened
Brush fish with half the sauce and broil 4 minutes if fresh chilled or 7 minutes if frozen
Turn fish, brush with remaining sauce. Broil 4-7 minutes. if any sauce remains heat it slowly until it thickens and serve with the fish
Serving with baked or mashed potatoes, rice or pasta plus salad or vegetables such as green beans, sweet corn, broccoli.
