Sustainably, line-caught off the coast of Long Island, the striped bass (Morone Saxatilis) or rock fish are large fish with beautiful black stripes running along their silvery body. The fillets have a rich flavour with firm, white flakes that hold up well when cooked. Ours come individually vacuum packed 170-225g each.

Striped Bass is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, thought to help heart health and brain function. It is also good source of lean protein, vitamins B and D and minerals which promote strong bones and muscles and are essential for cell regeneration, which makes it a perfect addition to a healthy diet.
The striped bass is considered pure Atlantic royalty. Holding a special place in the history (and hearts) of Montauk, striped bass fillets hold up well with a variety of preparations, a favourite being poached with a topping of fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic. Best paired with light fruity wines like a Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc.
